Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in Puy-de-Domme France on the 9th of August, 1976. She was the eldest among four kids. She was encouraged by her parents, a dentist and teacher who were both teachers to follow her love of acting. This contrasted with her previous desire to become a primateologist because she loved monkeys. It was a quick rise for her to be a famous young actor. In 1998 after her studies, she participated in the French program for scouting talent on TV called Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors prior to launching acting professionally. Tautou was a student at her school at the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris when she was a kid and studied there at an early age she has since renounced her Catholic childhood. Now, she declares herself to be non-Catholic. In addition to her acting career she started a modeling career. She is also the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and often called The Chanel Muse. Apart from her acting career she is also interested in photography. The actress recently showed some images during Arles Film Festival. Arles Film Festival under the title Superficial. The majority of her photography is focused on fame and celebrity and turns the camera on the journalists who scrutinised her following her sudden rise to stardom with Amelie and several self-portraits. Audrey Tautou's worldwide recognition and popularity exploded after her performance in the film as Amelie Poulain's leading actress in the film Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie was a worldwide box office success, and received accolades at award ceremonies around all over the world. Amelie is the most successful film that is French-speak in the US. Following this film, Tautou appeared in a variety of films, ranging from British dramas to Jean Pierre Jeunet's long Sunday de Faancailles. After that, she shifted to Hollywood and starred with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
